How do I add sellers or staff, with their own permissions and shifts?

Staff accounts are built into PMS. Each seller gets their own PIN, and you decide exactly what they can do.

Add a seller

Turn on staff login: if you chose “Just me” during setup, switch on “Staff login” in “Settings”, under “Login & security”.
Add the person: open “Staff & permissions” from the menu and tap “Add staff”.
Enter their details: a name, an optional mobile number and a 4–6 digit PIN. Tell them the PIN in person.
Choose a role: “Manager” can do everything; “Cashier” sells and writes credit. Or pick permissions one by one: credit, discounts, cancelling bills and returns, products and prices, purchases, expenses, cash box, profit and accounts, and settings.
Set a discount limit: on the same screen, “Staff discount limit” caps how much staff can take off one bill. Your own bills have no limit.

In “Settings”, turn on “Shifts”. It is meant for shops with more than one cashier.
At the start, each seller taps “Start shift” and counts the cash in the drawer.
At the end, they tap “End shift” and count again. They enter what they counted; what should be there is not shown to them.
You see whose shift was short or over. Viewing the shift report needs an internet connection.

Sellers sign in by picking their name and entering their PIN, and every bill is recorded under their name.
Selling for cash or bKash is always allowed.
Staff cannot see profit or expenses unless you give them that permission, and cashiers never see purchase costs.
Adding staff needs an internet connection once, because PINs are kept safely on the server, not on the phone.
To cancel bills or take returns, staff need the “Cancel bills and take returns” permission.

Give each person only the permissions their job needs. You can add more later.
Never share one PIN between two people, or you lose track of who made which bill.
Change the owner's name and password in “Settings”, under “Shop & device”.
