Once you choose “Open a new shop”, set it up in this order. Your figures are then correct from the very first sale.
1. Complete setup
Choose your business type, then answer a few short questions:
- How many billing counters?
- Do you have a barcode scanner?
- Do you print bills, and which paper size (58 mm or 80 mm)?
- Do you weigh out loose rice, lentils or sugar?
- Who makes bills in the shop: “Just me” or “Me and staff”?
- How often do you count the cash box?
- Do you pay VAT? Do you sell on credit?
You can change every answer later in “Settings”. In the last step, your mobile number becomes your login.
2. Add your opening cash
Setup asks “How much cash is in the box right now?”. Enter it there, or later on the Dashboard with “Put cash in”.
3. Write down your recovery code
When your shop reaches the server, PMS shows a recovery code. It is shown only once. Write it down or take a photo of it. If you forget your password, this code lets you set a new one from the sign-in screen.
4. Add products to stock
- Use “New product” for name, sale price, cost, stock, unit and barcode.
- Or bring in your whole list: in “Products & stock”, choose “Import products from a file” and pick an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. Column names can be in Bangla or English. Only a name and a price are required; cost, stock, unit, barcode, code, MRP, shelf and section are taken when present. “Copy sample” gives you a ready layout to paste into Excel.
- Record new stock from suppliers with “New purchase” in “Purchases”, so cost and stock stay right.
5. Add old customers and expenses, if needed
- Add regular customers to the “Credit book” with “New customer”, their mobile number and a credit limit.
- Record this month's rent, salaries and bills in “Expenses” with “Add expense”.
6. Start selling
On “Sell”, scan or search, set the quantity or weight, add a discount if needed, then tap “Take payment” and take cash, bKash or credit. Print the receipt or share it as a PDF.
7. Check the Dashboard for cash
Cash in hand, sales, dues and profit for today, the week, month or year. Use “Count the drawer” whenever you count the cash, so any difference is recorded.
8. Open Accounts for the details
Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, ledger and journal, ready to print or save as PDF or Excel.
